Understand what's involved when installing a cryogenic system. Tank size, vaporizer(s), and pad specification will vary based on your requirements.
Cryogenic Tank
The vacuum insulated containers are analogous to thermos bottles. A tank is comprised of two vessels, an inner tank and outer tank, with insulation in between. The air is removed between the tanks with a vacuum pump to extremely low levels to minimize heat transfer into the cryogenic fluid. Construction of the tank is carbon steel.
Vaporizer
The purpose of vaporizers is to change the fluid from a liquid to a gas. The process always requires energy. Energy is transferred in the form of heat, due to a temperature hotter than the cryogens temperature. Ambient Vaporizers consist of finned aluminum tubes and are the most commonly used type of vaporization.
Equipment Pad
It is the responsibility of the customer to provide the foundations for the equipment. This is because the foundations are a physical part of the customer's property. It is the responsibility of the property owner to deal with the local authorities in obtaining the building permits.
